Candy Gould was born in England and came to the States in 1986 She is a graduate of Leeds University and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She worked in the UK for Deloitte and Touche and Marks and Spencer plc. in finance. In the US she has raised her two children, Robert and Kate. She started a business in 2012 with Kate - “House of Colour Manhattan” - a franchise of a UK company - a personal Colour and image consultancy, serving Manhattan and Westchester.
She has participated in various community activities of her synagogue, UJA and a local hunger task force. She has been active in the Westchester Region of AJC since 2001, most recently as regional president from 2009-2011. Candy is a member of the Westchester Executive Committee , the AJC National Board of Governors and serves on the National Interfaith Steering Committee.
She is married to Leon Gould who is also a member of the National Board of Governors and was recently appointed co-chair of Diplomatic Outreach in the New York City Region. Candy and Leon were the honorees at the 2012 Westchester Gala.
Candy and Leon have recently moved to Manhattan, but look forward to maintaining a close connection with Westchester.
