AJC Honors Congresswoman Nita Lowey - November 7th

AJC’s Koppelman Institute on American Jewish-Israeli Relations will pay well-deserved tribute to Congresswoman Nita Lowey at its gala Annual Dinner on Monday, November 7th at the St. Regis Hotel, beginning at 6 pm.  She will accept this year’s prestigious Avraham Harman Leadership Award for her decades of devoted public service and outstanding contributions on behalf of the United States, the Jewish people and our community.

Founded in 1982, the Institute seeks to build bridges of mutual understanding between Israeli and American Jewry and strengthen the ties of the Jewish people.  The Institute works to help each community better recognize the needs and concerns of the other, the values and assumptions that dictate their thinking and behavior, and the distinctive contributions each continues to make to the texture of Jewish history.

Congresswoman Lowey is a dear and longstanding friend of AJC. We encourage you to participate in this festive tribute event and express your support and admiration for her, and for the important work of the Koppelman Institute.
