Musa Yenni

After having held various executive positions with the larger bracket investment banks and with IBM and Intel Corporations, Mr. Yenni co-founded Yenni Capital, Inc. in 1991 and serves as its president. Yenni Capital, a high-end venture capital and investment banking firm, maintains numerous contacts with financial and strategic institutions, private equity firms, venture capital firms and angel investors in the United States and abroad. One area of specialty has been international business and cross-border transactions. A current area of focus is to advise and invest in small companies in healthcare, technology and other industries in need of funding or strategic partnerships.

Mr. Yenni was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. He has received his Bachelor of Science, Industrial and Operations Engineering degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan in 1980 and his Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1984.

Mr. Yenni has had a long history of distinguished community service activities. Some highlights include chairing his Harvard Business School Class’s 15th year Reunion Program resulting in record attendance and promoting American-Turkish-Israeli trilateral cooperation. Mr. Yenni was a trustee of Copland House from 2001 to 2009 (; he is a founder and past board member of the American Friends of Turkish Jewry ( Mr. Yenni has graduated from the Wexner Heritage Program ( in July 2009 and he has been mentoring Columbia Business School students via its Lang Center for Entrepreneurship for the past seven years. Mr. Yenni was elected to AJC’s Board of Directors in June 2009 ( Musa is married to Lika with a son Jonathan starting Emory University this fall. Musa is an avid squash, tennis and bridge player.
