AJC Colorado started a new interfaith initiative with leaders of the Turkish Muslim community. Last fall, Ismail Akbulut, President of the Multicultural Mosaic Foundation, approached AJC to express his group's concerns about the harmful effects resulting from actions taken by the Turkish government that had damaged previously good relations with Israel and the Jewish people. |

AJC Colorado was honored by Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado as its 2011 “Partner of the Year” at the Federation’s 2011 Annual Meeting. Federation CEO & President Doug Seserman hailed AJC as “the diplomatic arm of the Jewish community, both locally and overseas.”
