Scope and Contents
The vertical subject files are an important starting point for researchers. They contain thousands of secondary source

by AJC is divided into separate folders.  Within the files are material from a number of other organizations, such as the
American Jewish Congress, Consultative Council of Jewish Organizations, International Consultation of  Jurists,
NAACP, National Citizens’ Council of Civil Rights, National Conference of  Christians and Jews, the Zionist Organization
of America, and many others.

Arrangement
The files are arranged subject.  They are housed in file cabinets that are located in the AJC library.
This is open shelf material.
