"AJC’s library is the best small Jewish library in the country,"

declared distinguished scholar Leonard Dinnerstein, who has written extensively on Jewish life, anti-Semitism, and Ethnicity in America.

Believing that successful advocacy must be founded on solid research, AJC established a library in 1939. It now holds more than 25,000 books, hundreds of studies, both published and unpublished, journals and newsletters. Its large number of unique and hard to locate items has made it an essential resource for historians and researchers.

The library is open to the public, by appointment only, from Monday-Thursday.

Whether you are an acclaimed historian or a high school student, we are interested in your projects. Our goal is to reply to every request within 48 hours.
