Looking for good news?
Here’s some very good news.
The International Energy
Agency just reported that America will overtake Saudi Arabia and Russia as the
world’s top oil producer within five years.
It also predicted that the
U.S. is within sight of becoming energy self-sufficient.
Just a few years ago, we
were hopelessly dependent on oil imports from countries hostile to us.
Our petrodollars make their
way to the coffers of those nations. They, in turn, use the money to support
radical elements -- and to pay for lavish charm offensives in Western nations.
AJC has supported American
energy security for nearly 40 years.
We’ve been calling for a
rational and forward-looking energy policy that moves us toward independence.
Few things could do more to
strengthen our economy and national security.
We still have a way to go,
but the finish line is within sight.
