The Middle East continues to be dangerous and uncertain.

Experts agree that Iran now has enough low-enriched uranium to potentially produce five bombs, as the centrifuges keep spinning.

In Syria, the horrific killings go on, including a recent massacre that took the lives of many children. The total death toll now tops 10,000. Countless more are in jail, hiding, or in exile.

Egypt is deeply divided. Upcoming elections pit Islamists against non-Islamists. Whoever wins, the loser is unlikely to go quietly into the night.

In this turbulent region, though, there’s at least one piece of good news.

There’s one country that’s solidly democratic… that shares our American values… and that we can count on.

That country is Israel, our most reliable friend in the Middle East.
