Greetings from Israel.
Each time I visit, I’m moved by what I see.
Israel is a vibrant country, pulsating with life, intensity
Indeed, Israel’s national anthem is called “Hatikvah,” which
means “the hope.”
And on these trips, I always meet people who come here for
the first time.
Whatever their background, they often have similar
They comment on the country’s beauty.
They’re surprised by its small size, no bigger than New
Jersey, which helps them grasp Israel’s security challenges in a rough region.
They’re impressed by Israel’s democracy. There are political
parties galore, and most Israelis aren’t shy about expressing an opinion on politics
or you name it.
They’re moved by Israel’s remarkable ethnic, religious, and
And they’re struck by the balance of the historical and
traditional -- and the modern and cutting-edge.
Israel. The more you know, the more you understand.
