Minister Netanyahu recently spoke at the UN on the global threat posed by Iran.
He warned the world
not to be fooled by the new Iranian President’s charm offensive, citing his
long-standing support for Iran’s nuclear program.
What to do?
“First, keep up the
sanctions,” the Israeli leader said. “If Iran advances its nuclear weapons program
during negotiations, strengthen the sanctions.”
agree to a partial deal. A partial deal would lift international sanctions that
have taken years to put in place…for cosmetic concessions that will take only
weeks for Iran to reverse.
“Third, lift the
sanctions only when Iran fully dismantles its nuclear weapons program. If you
want to knock out [the] program peacefully, don’t let up the pressure.
“We all want to
give diplomacy with Iran a chance to succeed,” he noted, “but….the greater the
pressure, the greater the chance.”
A powerful message!
