Sometimes a few
words explain a lot.
The other day, a
Palestinian spokeswoman, Hanan Ashrawi, said something startling.
there were no Jewish refugees from Arab countries. Those who left, she said,
did so voluntarily.
Facts are facts,
There were once
nearly a million Jews in Arab countries. Today, there’s barely a few thousand.
Why did they
Above all, because,
at best, they were third-class citizens; at worst, their lives were in danger.
My wife and her
family were among the hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees.
In the end, they
were lucky – they got out of Libya safely. Others weren’t so fortunate.
Ashrawi seeks to
erase this chapter in Jewish history.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas outrageously tries to deny any link
between Jews and Jerusalem.
If peace is the
Palestinian goal, what a reckless way to pursue it!
