Reform Judaism in Israel: Acknowledgements

Ephraim Tabory

Much of this work is based on interviews with rabbis and leaders of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism and Reform leaders abroad. I am very grateful to all of the interviewees for their assistance and to the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism for its cooperation and support. I am particularly indebted to the Israel Religious Action Center for the use of its archives, and to Rabbi Uri Regev, its executive director, who devoted much time to talking to me about the movement and who provided extensive and detailed comments on a draft of this paper. I am also grateful to Rinat Moshe for her research assistance. Rabbi Meir Azari, Rabbi Michael Boyden, Rabbi Richard Hirsch, Professor Dov Lazerwitz, Professor Nathan Lerner, and Ms. Brenda Pearl were all kind enough to make valuable suggestions and corrections to a draft of this report. I thank them as well. E.T.
