Human Resources Summer Intern

AJC’s Human Resources Department is seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized HR Intern to provide support for the department and its new initiatives. This internship will provide hands-on experience in various facets of HR. The intern will also be mentored by a senior HR executive.

General responsibilities include:

  • Conduct research in various areas including compensation, international labor laws, professional development opportunities, rewards and recognition programs; and best practices among other organizations.
  • Assist with recruitment including posting vacant positions and screening resumes
  • Work on HR database system
  • Perform general administrative duties



  • Interested in Human Resources
  • Strong research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Great organizational skills and must be detail-oriented
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word and Excel); working knowledge of HR databases is a plus
  • Respect for confidentiality
  • Pleasant demeanor


Interns will be provided with a commuting stipend of up to a maximum of $300 per month upon presentation of commuting receipts. This is an unpaid internship and can be part-time or full-time.
