Boston Regional Office Intern

AJC Boston is seeking new interns. The ideal candidates must be clear thinking, demonstrate strong writing skills, and should possess an interest in Israel, the Middle East, human rights, diplomacy, and/or intergroup relations.

The AJC Boston interns will:

  • Experience what it takes for a small regional office to be successful in a competitive Jewish marketplace
  • Provide support for major events like the Diplomats Seder and/or annual honoree dinner
  • Develop volunteer management and event recruitment skills
  • Support communications and development initiatives
  • Meet with experts in communications, development, advocacy, and program planning
  • Participate in AJC University courses
  • Research advocacy issues as needed

The Boston office is a small office with a large agenda. The successful candidate will be someone who is an energetic self-starter, who knows how to work well on a team, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure, has the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, enjoys a challenge, and wants to grow professionally. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

The position includes a modest stipend. Two semester commitment preferred but one semester commitment minimum.10-16 hours per week. To apply, please send resumes and cover letter to
